Job summary

Grocery Outlet is seeking a Store Transition Coordinator in Emeryville, CA to manage store changeovers from onboarding to licensing. You will coordinate with Operations, Legal, Construction, IT and other teams to ensure seamless transitions for Independent Operators.

You will lead kickoff calls, advise IOs on business setup and licensing, and oversee asset transactions while keeping partners informed and aligned. Strong organization and cross-functional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• A. or B.S. Degree required or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years of accounting or finance experience in grocery/retail preferred.
• Strong decision-making and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Clarizen is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple store transition projects and meet timelines using Clarizen.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners to execute transitions.
• Lead kick-off calls with Independent Operators and partners to align expectations.
• Guide IOs on business setup, licensing, and financial requirements during transitions.
• Oversee asset transactions and maintain accurate contractual records.
• Facilitate weekly calls with transitioning IOs and drive process improvements.
