Description

The Store Training Manager reports to the Store Manager and is responsible for implementing effective training programs for employees within a retail store environment. They work closely with store management to identify training needs and deliver training sessions to ensure that all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs effectively. The Store Training Manager also provides ongoing coaching and support, and maintains training records.

Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Supervisory and managerial duties as needed in the store.
  2. Meet personal monthly sales goals as set by leadership.
  3. Model and cultivate the Mission and Values within the store environment.
  4. Collaborate with store management to identify training needs and develop training programs.
  5. Partner with the Training team to design training curriculum, including manuals, job aids, presentations, e-learning modules, and other materials.
  6. Conduct training for new hires and existing employees using various methods such as on-the-job training.
  7. Provide ongoing coaching and support to reinforce learning and address performance gaps.
  8. Collaborate with training, HR, operations, and other managers to ensure consistency and share best practices.
  9. Coach Arch Support Specialists to achieve sales excellence weekly and monthly.
  10. Follow up diligently with customers post-sale.
  11. Maintain a professional environment for team and customers.
  12. Oversee POS procedures like refunds, voids, reporting, and work hours adjustments.
  13. Work with the Store Manager to ensure proper execution of the sales process.

Benefits

  • $20.19/hr + commission

  • Paid Time Off for full-time employees
  • Retail hours: 10 AM - 7 PM, Monday - Saturday; closed Sundays

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills to engage and motivate learners.
  • Proficiency in LMS and training software/tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a training manager or similar role, preferably in retail or customer service.
