Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Experience supporting operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• At least 4 years of personal outdoor hobbies and skills, with fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, with bilingual skills as a plus.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to read and follow safety and operational documents.
• Proficiency in basic math and understanding instructions.
• Experience using POS equipment, symbol, and telephone (Cashier only).
• Ability to write routine reports (Cashier only).
• Knowledge of inventory software and order processing (Cashier only).
• Passion and expertise in outdoor hobbies such as fishing, hunting, shooting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Must comply with federal and state firearm transaction laws (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Must qualify for FOID card in Illinois (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Experience with basic hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Prompt, friendly customer service skills.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness and observation skills.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good hearing and vision to perform duties.
• Adherence to work hours, policies, and rules.
• Ability to walk, reach, talk, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
