They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly customer service, helping customers navigate the wide range of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our mission.

Sales Team Member Positions:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experiences:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoor hobbies and interests experience; fishing and hunting preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, including bilingual abilities a plus.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with strong organizational and detail skills.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
• Proficiency with basic math and understanding written or diagrammed instructions.
• Operate POS equipment and coach others (Cashier only).
• Write routine reports and maintain inventory systems (Cashier only).
• Passionate about outdoor hobbies and skills (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Meet federal and state requirements for firearm transactions (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Ability to obtain/maintain FOID card (Illinois only, Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment proficiently.
• Provide prompt, friendly service.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
• Strong situational awareness skills.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to hear and see adequately to perform duties.
• Adherence to work hours, policies, and rules.
