Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experiences:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• In-direct support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoor hobbies, interests, and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to connect, build rapport, and engage with customers passionate about sports and outdoor pursuits; bilingual skills a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety rules, instructions, plan-o-grams, and manuals.
• Proficient in basic math and applying instructions.
• Operate POS equipment, symbol, and telephone (Cashier only).
• Write routine reports and correspondence (Cashier only).
• Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems (Cashier only).
• Passionate about outdoor hobbies such as fishing, hunting, shooting, camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Must meet federal and state requirements for firearm transactions (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Must qualify for FOID card (Illinois only, Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Proficient with basic hand tools and equipment.
• Provide friendly, prompt customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
• Strong situational awareness skills.

• Flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Adequate hearing and vision to perform duties.

• Constantly lift up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
• Stand, handle, and perform repetitive motions continuously.
