They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly service, helping customers navigate the wide range of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our mission.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection).

Work Experiences:

• Previous related experience preferred.
• Cashier roles: operating POS, symbol, and telephone preferred.
• Experience supporting operational excellence and sales targets preferred.
• Outdoor hobbies and skills: 4+ years experience preferred; fishing and hunting experience a plus.
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus for Asset Protection roles.
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus for Asset Protection roles.

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, bilingual skills a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow safety and operational documents.
• Proficiency with basic math and instructions.
• Cashier-specific: operate POS, write reports, use inventory software.
• Outdoor enthusiasts: passion and knowledge in outdoor activities.
• For Fishing and Hunting roles: meet legal requirements for firearm transactions and FOID card (Illinois).
• Use of basic tools and equipment.
• Provide friendly, prompt customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and situational awareness.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Good hearing and vision.
• Adherence to work hours and policies.

• Lifting up to 10 lbs constantly, up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Stand, handle, and perform repetitive motions.
• Vision abilities: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, focus.
