Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoor hobbies and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills

• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, bilingual a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow safety and operation instructions.
• Proficiency with basic math and understanding instructions.
• Operate POS equipment and assist others (Cashier only).
• Write reports and correspondence (Cashier only).
• Knowledge of inventory software and order systems (Cashier only).
• Passion for outdoor hobbies such as fishing, hunting, shooting, camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Meet legal requirements for firearms transactions and FOID card (Fishing and Hunting only).
• Use of basic tools and equipment.
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Understanding emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness.

• Good hearing and vision to perform duties.
• Adherence to company policies and work hours.

• Lift up to 10 pounds constantly and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Stand, handle, and use fingers repetitively.
