They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly customer service, helping customers navigate the wide range of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our mission.

Logistics/Merchandising/Operations Positions:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoors hobbies, interests, and skills preferred, especially fishing and hunting (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow safety and operational documents.
• Proficiency with basic math and understanding instructions.
• Operate POS, symbol, and telephone (Cashier only).
• Write routine reports and maintain inventory software (Cashier only).
• Passion for outdoor hobbies such as fishing, hunting, shooting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Must meet legal requirements for firearms transactions (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and equipment.
• Provide prompt, friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness skills.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good hearing and vision.
• Adherence to work hours, policies, and rules.
• Ability to walk, reach, talk, sit, climb, and perform physical tasks as required.
• Lift up to 10 pounds constantly and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Stand, handle, and use hands and fingers repetitively.
• Visual abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, and focus adjustment.
