Old Navy in California is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and coach the team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitability through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development, collaborating with store leadership to execute strategy.

You will coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to maximize sales, recruit and develop teams, and ensure smooth omni-channel operations while meeting performance goals.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication with customers and team to meet goals.
• Passionate about retail and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to deliver results.
• Able to lead and mentor team members.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnights, weekends.
• Able to use retail technology.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and move around the store.
• Willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop highly productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
