Job summary

L.L.Bean’s upcoming Naperville store seeks a Year-round/Full-time Store Team Leader of Operations to drive the customer experience and store performance. You’ll lead team members across operations, retail, and service, ensuring safety, replenishment, and omni-channel execution.

Two years of retail experience and an associate degree are preferred. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and delivering exceptional service consistent with L.L.Bean values.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with at least 2+ years of retail experience.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Systems knowledge (POS, Word, Excel) and comfort with social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, organized stock room and adheres to safety standards.
• Manages inbound freight processing and completes shipments within 24 hours.
• Replenishes sales floor stock and coordinates transfers between locations.
• Oversees returns processing per SOP and manages omni-channel tasks.
• Acts as safety liaison and models safe behaviors to reduce risk.
• Leads by example as Leader on Duty to drive conversions and sales.
• Analyzes business reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Supports and trains associates, including GUIDE training for new hires.
