Job summary

Family Farm and Home is seeking a Team Leader to drive sales and customer service excellence within our stores. You will support the store manager, supervise team members, and help execute merchandising, inventory control, and operating cost management.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
• Assist store manager in promoting an aggressive sales culture with a focus on superior customer service.
• Maintain professionalism and positive store morale.
• Schedule and assign employees; follow up on work results.
• Identify current and future customer requirements by engaging with customers.
• Establish relationships with local community groups.
• Encourage sign-ups for FFH programs (loyalty, warranties, financing).
• Manage inventory and protect company assets according to policy.
• Ensure merchandise is received, stored, and displayed per procedures; maintain safety.
• Support marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and sales records.
• Enforce policies and procedures; handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
