Job summary

Express is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Columbia store. The role supports the Store Manager in supervising daily store operations, recruiting, training, and driving sales while ensuring a great in-store shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities include coaching Sales Associates, managing performance, overseeing merchandising and omnichannel processes, and ensuring adherence to company policies to meet targets and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant job experience.
• Proficient with iPad and POS registers.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Meets availability criteria including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in supervising store operations and sales functions.
• Drive productivity and ensure great in-store shopping experience.
• Lead and train Sales Associates to improve performance.
• Support floor coverage and omnichannel operations.
• Oversee merchandise flow and adherence to company policies.
