Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves assisting with daily tasks, merchandising, and ensuring a safe, clean store environment.

You will help train Store Associates and uphold company policies while delivering excellent customer experiences. The position is part-time, located at 4238 Richmond Road, Warsaw, Virginia, with an emphasis on high-energy teamwork and hands-on leadership in a retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling processes.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect store assets and adhere to safety and company policies.
• Assist in training and developing Store Associates.
