Family Dollar in Euclid, Ohio is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run store operations, support customer service, and develop the team. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and maintain a well-stocked, presentable store.

This part-time role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a commitment to safety and company policies. You will support the Store Manager, supervise associates, and help ensure a friendly, efficient shopping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery/drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk frequently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
