Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Brent, Alabama is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the register, stock shelves, and help keep the store clean and organized.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30-50 lbs. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and manage frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including restrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned*
