Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and cash handling
• Experience with IBM cash register functions and cashier accountability
• Knowledge of safety and cash control policies
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and receive/unpack cartons and totes following store processes.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays and restock returned items.
• Operate cash register, collect payment, and provide change.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including front-end area and stockroom.
