Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Work Experience:

• At least two years of relevant work experience required.
• In-direct support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and meet sales targets.
• Must meet federal and state requirements for selling and processing firearms transactions, if applicable.
• Must meet requirements to qualify for/maintain FOID card (Illinois only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service orientation; effective problem solver and communicator with customers and team members.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, plan-o-grams, and manuals.
• Prepare routine reports and correspondence.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Working knowledge of inventory software, order processing systems, and Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.

Other Requirements (excluding Lead Cashier):

• Must meet federal and state requirements for firearms transactions, if applicable.
• Must qualify for/maintain FOID card (Illinois only).
• Completion of Firearms Sales Certification Training required, if applicable.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Acceptable hearing and vision to perform job duties.
• Adhere to work hours, policies, procedures, and rules.
• Stand, walk, reach, handle, and perform repetitive motions; lift up to 20 pounds regularly.
• Stooping, crouching, grasping, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing, and lifting 21-40 pounds frequently.
• Occasionally sit, climb, balance, and lift 41-60 pounds.
