Job summary

Walmart is seeking a store leadership professional in Jacksonville, FL to supervise and develop hourly associates, hire and train staff, and drive store performance. You will mentor teams, set clear expectations, and promote a culture of belonging while aligning with Walmart's values and OBW service model.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, people development, and execution of business priorities with a focus on customer experience, community engagement, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Firearms CBC and Firearms Training may be required for facilities selling firearms.
• If applicable, state certificates or eligibility requirements for firearms or ammunition roles.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training and mentoring; assigning duties and recognizing performance.
• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training and providing feedback to ensure store operations and customer service standards.
• Drives store performance by reviewing P&L, budgeting, and controlling expenses while achieving sales targets and reducing shrink.
• Promotes a culture of belonging and integrity by adherence to Walmart values and Open Door Policy.
