Job summary

Vans in Charlotte is seeking a qualified Supervisor to support the store’s leadership team and drive a best-in-class customer experience. You will coach and develop associates, ensure merchandising standards, and help maximize store profitability in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

The role emphasizes coaching, inventory flow, and loss prevention while fostering a community presence through local initiatives. Prior retail leadership and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail or store leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Support the store team to achieve sales goals by monitoring progress against key performance indicators.
• Coach and develop associates to deliver high levels of customer engagement and meet productivity goals.
• Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, floor coverage, and task delegation.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members; provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product replenishment aligns with brand directives.
• Support inventory integrity through proper shipping, receiving, and loss prevention practices.
• Promote community engagement by participating in local initiatives and events.
