Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager's direction, you will supervise staff, oversee merchandise, deposits and paperwork, stock and cashier duties, and assist in maximizing profitability while safeguarding assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year in retail and supervisory exposure preferred.
• Strong communication and math skills required.
• Ability to operate cash registers and scanners.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cash register/scanner.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, restocking and displays.
• Support inventory accuracy and loss prevention efforts.
• Assist with planograms and merchandising presentation as directed.
• Maintain cash control, refunds, overrides, tills, and bank deposits.
• Help manage store in the Store Manager's absence.
