Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. Under the Store Manager, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, complete paperwork, and help with deposits while protecting assets and reducing losses.

You will provide superior customer service leadership, assist with scheduling and training, implement planograms, handle cash control, and support store operations during the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of retail experience optional; 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings for employees.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash control practices.
• Support planogram implementation and store presentation.
• Assist with deposits and refunds under supervision.
• Cover store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
