Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support store operations and leadership in Reading, PA.

You will act as Manager on Duty (MOD), execute merchandising plans, and ensure in-stock conditions while delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll oversee staff scheduling, compliance with labor laws, safety protocols, and price accuracy, coordinating with the Store Manager to optimize resources and store performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• An associate degree or two years’ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Manager on Duty (MOD) and makes key store decisions.
• Executes merchandising plans and maintains in-stock conditions.
• Drives engagement by communicating with customers and resolving issues.
• Oversees assignments to maximize efficiency and ensure labor law compliance.
• Oversees receiving, pricing, freshness, and rotation of merchandise; maintains logs.
• Ensures safety and compliance with OSHA, weights, and measures laws.
• Performs daily store walks to identify opportunities and provide direction.
• Supports company programs and communicates policies to associates.
