Job summary

Horizon Goodwill in Front Royal, VA is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor to oversee daily store operations during the assigned shift, supporting management in sales, merchandising, pricing, and paperwork. This role requires a High School diploma and at least one year of retail experience.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing displays and promotions, handling cash and deposits, receiving merchandise, maintaining a clean and safe store, and participating in training to ensure policy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of retail experience required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass pre-screenings (background or drug).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store personnel during the assigned shift.
• Assist with arranging store windows, displays, and promotions.
• Sell merchandise and provide customer service; resolve complaints per policy.
• Maintain store premises and merchandise in a clean, safe, organized condition; ensure supplies on hand.
• Follow safety and security procedures and company policies; manage opening/closing tasks and paperwork.
• Receive and verify merchandise from warehouse/vendors; manage deposits per policy.
• Perform administrative duties and basic store operation tasks.
• Receive donations and transport to designated area.
• Participate in training and perform other duties as assigned.
