Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring immediately for part-time Shift Leads at our Alabama locations. You’ll deliver prompt, courteous service, help customers with purchases and fuel, and keep the store running smoothly.

As a Shift Lead you’ll supervise teammates, assist the Store Manager, and help the team meet performance goals. Promotion to Assistant Manager can occur within six months. We offer daily pay options, health benefits, a 401K, PTO, and opportunities for career advancement in a diverse,

Qualifications

High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.
Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience.
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
Responding to and resolving customer's requests and concerns.
Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
Operating cash register.
Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
Helping lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives.
Performing job related duties as assigned.
In the absence of management provide backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance.
