Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is seeking a part-time Shift Lead in Alabama to deliver prompt, courteous service and oversee cashier operations. You will assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions, maintain stock, and help keep the store clean and safe.

You will back up the Store Manager, guide the team to exceed performance goals, and support daily operations including paperwork and training. Benefits include healthcare, 401K matches, and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (varying by state).
• High school diploma or GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to bend, stand, reach and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operate cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise are available for customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Help lead the team to meet performance goals and objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management, back up daily tasks and training of new employees.
