Job summary

Walgreens in Tarpon Springs, FL is seeking a capable team member to operate during shifts in the absence of store management. You will open/close the store, handle cash, and ensure floor and stock room readiness for the business day, including deliveries through the back door.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, assist with inventory, pricing, displays, and maintain store standards. Prior leadership or key-holder experience and English fluency are required, with a preference for knowledge

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Preferred knowledge of store inventory control.
• We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store when management is absent, including cash handling and storefront readiness.
• Handle returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change at registers.
• Engage customers and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist with inventory, pricing, displays, and upkeep of store condition.
• Assist with back-door deliveries and vendor processes.
• Maintain store systems knowledge and assist at Pharmacy out window.
