Job summary

Mattress Firm Pennington is seeking a Store Sales Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional in-store experience. You will coach a team of Sleep Experts, manage merchandising, and partner with marketing to grow brand presence in-store and online.

You will oversee onboarding, scheduling, inventory, and cash handling while ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time on-site role with uncapped commission potential.

Qualifications

• Store leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead store vision, initiatives, and sales targets by coaching associates to execute in-store merchandising across units.
• Drive selling programs and KPI results while supporting omni-channel experience and customer focus.
• Oversee onboarding and team development with 30–60–90 day check-ins and ongoing coaching.
• Plan staffing levels, manage scheduling, and ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage stock, inventory, cash handling, and merchandise flow with corporate procedures.
• Collaborate with marketing on social media strategy to boost brand awareness and sales; ensure timely store openings/closes.
