Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. invites applications for a Sales Manager at the LI-LAKE GROVE, NY store. You will lead front-end and service operations, coach the team on selling behaviors, and ensure brand standards and strong customer experiences.

You will drive KPI results through effective coaching, manage Store Manager support, oversee POS and Checkout, and coordinate in-store programs like loyalty enrollment, BOPIS, Same Day Delivery, and events, while upholding safety and asset protection.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and service operations to ensure consistent selling behaviors and brand standards.
• Coach team to achieve selling and service KPIs through customer-focused guidance.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions and customer support.
• Promote and enroll customers in Loyalty Rewards Program and drive retention.
• Drive sales and omni-channel excellence including BOPIS, Same Day Delivery, and Knot & Sew Shop operations.
