Job summary

White House Black Market is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and model exceptional customer service. You will drive brand standards, motivate the team, and deliver personalized, hospitality-focused experiences that reflect WHBM’s culture.

In this role, you will oversee opening/closing duties, cash handling, scheduling, and inventory, while coaching staff toward achieving sales goals. This is a part-time opportunity in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team to drive results.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.
