Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Customer Service Manager to drive sales and margin while shaping a positive store culture. You will lead sales associates, ensure a premier customer experience, and collaborate with leadership on training and promotions.

The role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, and hands-on management of daily operations to maintain an engaging and inclusive environment for staff and customers alike.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in retail or warehouse setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales, margin, and EBITDA targets for the store.
• Create a great customer experience on the sales floor.
• Provide coaching and feedback to all associates; manage performance reviews.
• Assist with large merchandising projects and in-store promotions.
• Participate in interview process and onboard new sales associates.
• Coordinate scheduling and act as on-site manager when needed.
