Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a store associate to provide prompt, courteous service while maintaining store standards. The role requires you to follow policies, assist the Store Manager, and ensure a clean, organized selling floor.

You must perform arithmetic for cash handling, post transactions accurately, and adhere to safety regulations. This position may include overnight cleaning duties and lifting up to 55 pounds; good English and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Be able to converse with, communicate, and understand English at the eighth-grade level.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level to make change and balance shift reports.
• Read and understand instructions for operating cash registers and equipment.
• Lift up to 55 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overnight shift and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to store policies and schedule; delivers prompt, courteous service.
• Maintains store inspections grade by keeping store neat and stocked.
• Reports cash discrepancies and sales figures to the Store Manager.
• Rings sales, posts markups/markdowns, and uses the price book for merchandise.
• Operates cash registers and POS equipment; follows security procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, shelves, and equipment; assists with merchandising.
