Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a reliable cashier to ring up purchases and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced store. You will handle POS transactions, provide accurate change, and close the register at shifts end.

You will replenish stock, merchandise the checkout area, and help with inventory control, pricing, and storefront cleanliness. Phone etiquette and teamwork are essential for smooth operations and loss prevention adherence.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years in cashier/retail preferred.
• Customer service orientation.
• Ability to provide accurate change and handle transactions.

Responsibilities

• Scan and ring up purchases using POS register.
• Provide correct change to customers.
• Close out register at end of shift.
• Assist customers with large purchases and carryouts as needed.
• Replenish inventory and merchandise the checkout area.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms and break room.
• Answer phones with proper greeting and service.
• Support inventory management, pricing, and merchandising at checkout area.
• Assist in preventing loss per company policy.
• Package items for home/business delivery.
• Complete mandatory training and other duties as assigned.
