Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes and markdowns
3. Balancing registers according to company policy
4. Calling out prices for customers during transactions
5. Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per company policy
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when needed
8. Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping duties
9. Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, fitting room policies, ringing transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional, neat appearance with a name tag
12. Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
13. Supporting management with tasks as requested per company policy
14. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
15. Assisting with Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting, reporting theft or dishonesty, and following operational policies

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
