Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes and markdowns
3. Balancing registers according to company policy
4. Calling out prices during transactions
5. Bags merchandise efficiently after sales
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
8. Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping
9. Providing excellent customer service: greeting, assisting, thanking, and inviting customers to return
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting management with merchandising and stock management
13. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
14. Assisting with loss prevention efforts, including theft prevention and reporting incidents
