Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing registers according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly per company policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
• Maintaining housekeeping duties as assigned
• Providing customer service, including greeting, following fitting room policies, ringing up customers promptly, thanking customers, and inviting return visits
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
• Supporting management with tasks per company policy
• Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers
• Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing theft, reporting incidents, and following operational policies

Job Requirements
