Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We are growing, and this is a great opportunity for those looking to lead the way.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes and markdowns
3. Balancing cash register according to company policy
4. Calling out prices for customers during transactions
5. Bags merchandise efficiently upon completing transactions
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per company policy
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when necessary
8. Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
9. Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, fitting room policies, ringing up customers promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
13. Supporting management with any tasks as per company policy
14. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers after transactions
15. Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting theft or dishonesty, and following operational policies

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
