Position Overview:

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting in the execution of all operational and merchandising functions within the store during their shift. They provide excellent customer service to every guest.

Major Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions:

1. Driving Sales:
   • Drive sales to meet and exceed goals.
   • Handle funds and merchandise per company policy.
   • Assist with scheduling grassroots events quarterly.
   • Manage merchandise effectively.
   • Support marketing initiatives.
2. Customer Experience:
   • Provide exceptional service to all customers.
   • Be a product knowledge expert to educate customers.
   • Model company values and serve as a role model for associates.
   • Drive PLCC to enhance brand loyalty.
3. Operations:
   • Assist with merchandising, display maintenance, and visual updates.
   • Replenish floor stock.
   • Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
   • Communicate with management on key areas.
   • Adhere to store policies and manage time effectively.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to apply retail math principles.
• Proficient in computer skills and POS systems.

Essential Work Requirements:

• Lift up to 30 lbs, push, pull, bend, and stretch frequently.
• Stand for 8-10 hours daily.
• Use ladders or equipment for store maintenance.
• Work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
• Possible minimal travel for district meetings or banking duties.

Interaction:

Daily interaction across all divisions and levels.
