Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing cash register according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions
• Efficiently bagging merchandise upon transaction completion
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and in accordance with company policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when necessary
• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing up customers promptly, thanking them, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
• Supporting management with any tasks as per company policy
• Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers after transactions
• Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting theft or dishonesty, and following operational policies

Job Requirements:
