Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, and this is a great opportunity if you've ever wanted to lead the way.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing the register according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently upon transaction completion
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and according to policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when needed
• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing up transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels
• Supporting management with tasks as requested per company policy
• Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers after transactions
• Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including theft prevention, reporting incidents, and following operational policies

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
