The role demands 2 years in commercial refrigeration HVAC, EPA refrigerant handling certification, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma, with safety as a priority and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand, power, and digital tools.
• Receive and document repairs via the work order system.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and diagnose issues with equipment.
• Complete required safety and training for equipment operation.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines and Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
