Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations of a Walgreens store and pharmacy, driving improved sales, profitability and a distinctive customer and patient experience.

You will supervise staff, schedule shifts, manage inventory, analyze performance metrics, and ensure compliance with laws and company policies. The role includes recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and improves customer service provided by team members and develops action plans for improvement.
• Supervises store and pharmacy operations, including scheduling and task delegation.
• Manages inventory, receiving, stocking, pricing, and stock liquidation to avoid outs and overstock.
• Analyzes financial and performance data to increase sales and control costs; reviews KPIs with management.
• Performs hiring, promotion, and termination decisions and ensures training compliance.
