Job summary

Designer Brands in Toledo, OH is seeking a Store Leader to elevate the in-store experience, coach associates to deliver exceptional customer service, and drive KPI through smart merchandising and efficient operations.

You will partner with the Store Manager to plan daily priorities, support opening and closing routines, manage staffing and payroll, ensure policy compliance, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for every customer.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with speed and hold the team accountable for deadlines.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient with store technology (Register, keypad, iPhone).
• Able to stand/walk up to 100% of shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Elevate in-store experience by modeling CEL behaviors and coaching associates to achieve KPI and respond to requests with urgency.
• Maintains store standards and completes daily open/close tasks including cleaning and recovery.
• Review and communicate action plans to ensure tasks are completed.
