Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is looking for a Key Carrier to support store operations in Dallas. This role alternates with Coordinator duties and includes acting as Manager on Duty, ensuring store procedures, and coaching Associates to deliver strong customer service.

Candidates should be able to work nights and weekends, be a team player, and handle multiple tasks with excellent communication and organizational skills. Retail experience and leadership exposure are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months leadership experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates.
• Exercises discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience.
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures.
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines.
• Communicates with management and Associates when setting priorities; provides progress updates.
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates.
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Ensures adherence to labor laws and company policies.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
