Job summary

Dollar Tree in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help train and supervise Store Associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from truck to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and losses.
• Keep store areas clean, stocked, and organized to company standards.
• Protect assets, including store cash, and adhere to safety policies.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain bathroom cleanliness, floors, waste disposal, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
