Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Port Charlotte, FL, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers in a positive, approachable manner, and ensure the seasonal areas of the store are maintained.

Additionally, you will help with opening/closing procedures, follow corporate directives, maintain promotional displays, assist in merchandise ordering and loss prevention, and support the Store

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Follow corporate directives and store policies
• Maintain promotional displays and store cleanliness
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and payroll/scheduling records
• Protect store assets including cash and inventory
• Support Store Manager in training and development of associates
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment and professional customer interactions
