Family Dollar in Greenville, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandising, opening/closing tasks, and staff supervision to ensure a high-energy, customer-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged items, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect assets including store cash and adhere to safety policies.
• Assist Store Manager in supervising, training and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness including restrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
