Job summary

Bloedorns is seeking a Store General Manager to lead daily operations and drive performance at the Douglas location. You will oversee staff, budgeting, inventory, and customer relations while reporting to upper management.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of supervisory experience in building materials, strong English communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ supervision in building materials or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret schedules and instructions.
• Strong math and budgeting functionality for invoices and reports.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assume store responsibility in General Manager’s absence.
• Inform GM on status, issues, schedules, and location performance.
• Assist GM with recruiting, hiring, training, and employee relations.
• Supervise staff by assigning work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
• Support budget preparation, financial reporting, and accounts payable oversight.
• Assist with inventory control and expense management.
• Solicit customer feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company programs and procedures.
• Attend training sessions as required and perform other duties.
