Job summary

US LBM is seeking an experienced store operations leader to oversee Arrow Building Center, Lampert Lumber and Lyman Lumber teams. You will manage daily activities, ensure sales and service excellence, and drive profitability for locations up to $15M in annual sales.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of management experience in building materials, strong communication, and a proven ability to motivate staff and improve processes while maintaining excellent customer relations.

Qualifications

• Education includes a High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of management experience in a related industry.
• Knowledge of building materials, logistics and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all store operations and personnel including sales, service, purchasing and manufacturing.
• Ensure maximum productivity and profitability for locations with sales up to $15M annually.
• Assign, train and direct managers and supervisors in job performance.
• Monitor inventory levels, sales activity and department expenses.
• Promote safety, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop work schedules, set goals and ensure on-time delivery.
• Review reports and budgets; manage costs and implement improvements.
• Lead customer relations and resolve issues to mutual satisfaction.
• Coordinate workflows between departments and support continuous improvement.
