Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) in Massachusetts to assist the General Manager with daily store operations and adhere to company policies. You will supervise hourly employees, manage cash handling and inventory, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the store.

The role emphasizes guest service, promotional engagement, and adherence to financial controls. Applicants should be at least 18, have reliable transportation, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and/or holidays.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoor, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline hourly employees, upholding standards.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist investigations of small variances.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties per cash control policies.
• Manage cash handling procedures including deposits and change orders.
• Maintain store image standards and cleanliness.
• Ensure store is secure and meets safety guidelines.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and promotions.
• Engage in company promotional initiatives and guest service.
