Responsibilities

• Support Cavender’s Culture and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Maintain active role in personal selling and meet or exceed sales per hour goals.
• Train all other associate positions in the store and act as Manager on Duty.
• Assist in day-to-day management and supervise store associates to deliver Best of the WEST customer service and drive sales.
• Open and close the store as directed.
• Address customer complaints; handle returns and exchanges.
• Increase sales, maintain profit, and reduce controllable expenses using key metrics.
• Lead training of store associates on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Maintain a safe environment and report safety incidents; ensure records are kept.
• Understand and execute all company policies; participate in Loss Prevention.
• Lead and support team members to deliver Best of the WEST service; keep the store stocked and organized.
• Ensure associates present themselves neatly and professionally; manage timecard and payroll activities.
• Handle personnel matters in conjunction with management; lead store initiatives.
• Any other duties as assigned.
